The Challenge
VSL is an international construction company operating in Hong Kong, Dubai, The USA and Europe. VSL has a high drive for success. Safety is their predominant concern. To achieve success, they wanted to set up a virtual training academy to enable talented young managers to get to grips with essential technical and leadership skills.

 The Approach
Goodfoot constructed and delivered digital workshops to cover essential skills such as Managing Self, Relationship Management and Project Management. Alongside these workshops was a series of team projects in which participants took key recommendations to the Executive Committee for approval.

Goodfoot provided training, coaching, one on one support and project support. The topic of WellBeing formed the base of the delivery, as well as enabling highly capable technical managers to understand and deal with emotion in the workplace. The aim was to produce a set of managers comfortable with both people and technical challenges.

The Results
Results were superb, with the average score of Goodfoot sessions being 4.5 stars out of 5 on the star rating system. Participants not only grew in expertise but also in personal confidence. A huge side effect was the gains of networking, Goodfoot produced a highly energetic and interactive programme for the remote environment.
